Villas
Schedule precious time together this year in the comfort and privacy of Aman’s Villas.
Whether savouring authentic Khmer cuisine in The Dining Room with its lofty rotunda, breakfasting on the deck of a village house amidst the temples, or sipping a cocktail on the rooftop terrace, Amansara offers both guests and non-residents one of a kind dining experiences revealing Cambodia’s multifaceted culinary heritage.
The striking centrepiece of Amansara, the circular Dining Room opens onto two terraces – one overlooking verdant lawns and the other the main swimming pool. The all-day menu includes both traditional Khmer and International cuisines, and guests are free to help themselves from the walk-in cheese and wine cellar, and the freshly baked cake selection in the elegant lounging area.
Set in a garden within the Angkor Wat World Heritage Site, Amansara’s Khmer Village House is a traditional stilted abode overlooking the 10th-century royal reservoir of Srah Srang. An inspiring and culturally immersive setting, it is ideal for lazy breakfasts after exploring the temples, hands-on cooking classes and romantic candlelit dinners cooked over charcoal to the accompaniment of live music.
A serene space surrounded by the treetops of Amansara’s forested boundary, the Roof Terrace offers a seasonal venue for early or late evening drinks and cocktails, as well as private dinners. It is also a tranquil setting for yoga or quiet contemplation, especially at sunrise, followed by a private breakfast with birdsong as the only soundtrack.
Board an Amanbala motorboat for a cruise of Tonlé Sap lake and a romantic breakfast picnic afloat among the stilted village homes of Chong Kneas. In the evening, enjoy a Cambodian feast in the 10th-century Angkor temple of Prasat Kravan, aglow with 1,000 candles.
From birthday festivities to anniversary dinners, Amansara is able to arrange exceptional gala dining and celebrations of all sizes.
Restaurants are open to Aman guests and non-residents (subject to availability).
